Score big at your Super Bowl party with this line up of Thai appetizers. Using WATCHAREE’s Thai sauces, follow the recipes below to make these delicious traditional and fusion snacks that are both easy to prepare and add bit of spice to your game-day menu.
1 jar Watcharee's Thai Peanut Sauce
2 lb. chicken breast
2 tbsp. yellow curry powder
1 tbsp. tumeric powder
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. light soy sauce
2 tbsp. oil
25 bamboo skewers
2 tbsp. ground peanuts (optional)
Slice chicken into thin strips. Combine yellow curry powder, turmeric powder, sugar, light soy sauce and oil together. Add chicken to the mixture and marinate for at least 30 minutes or even overnight in the refrigerator. Thread chicken pieces onto the bamboo skewers and grill on a grill pan over medium heat or on a barbecue grill until golden brown. Warm peanut sauce in a sauce pan and remove from heat. Sprinkle ground peanuts on top of the sauce and serve as a dipping sauce. You can substitute chicken with pork, beef, shrimp or salmon.

Turkey Massaman Curry Puff Pastries
2 cups ground turkey breast
1 cup Watcharee's Thai Massaman Curry Sauce
2 tbsp. ground peanuts
2 sheets puff pastry (1 package)
1 tbsp. water
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a silpat or baking sheet with parchment paper. In a frying pan, heat oil on medium heat, and add the turkey and Watcharee’s Thai
Massaman Curry sauce. Once the turkey is cooked, add ground peanuts, remove from heat and set aside. On a floured surface, roll out each puff pastry sheet and cut each sheet into 9 equal squares about 3” x 3” per square. Use a rolling pin to flatten out each puff pastry piece. Add 2 tablespoons of the ground turkey mixture to each puff pastry square, fold to form a triangle, and seal the edges. Repeat the process with the remaining pastries and filling. Prepare egg wash by mixing an egg with water. Place pastries on the baking sheet and brush with egg wash. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

Massaman Chicken Drumettes
1 jar Watcharee's Thai Massaman Curry Sauce
2 lbs chicken drumettes
Marinate chicken drumettes with Watcharee’s Massaman Curry Sauce for 3 hours or overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the chicken drumettes from refrigerator and let stand at room temperature before cooking. Heat the grill pan
thoroughly on medium heat for 2-3 minutes to prevent sticking, and brush with oil. Grill the chicken drumettes until brown crusty stripes form on each side.
Alternatively, preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Bake marinated chicken drumettes on a baking sheet lined with foil and sprayed with oil for 30-35 minutes until the skin is caramelized and the chicken is cooked through.
